We are a community Interest Company working to provide a wheeled sports venue for the whole community. Promoting mutual respect and support for everyone, along with protecting our environment and promoting pride in our area and facilities now and for future generations.
JuncYard C.I.C. is a Small Community Interest Company with three Directors. We are open to anyone wishing to become a new director with the majority support of the existing three Directors. The Company has the support of our Victoria Skatepark Project Group, who initially voted to create a Community Interest Company and agreed to the three Directors that now sit on the board of JuncYard C.I.C.
The Victoria Skatepark Project Group is open to all members of the community and has an advisory steering group for JuncYard C.I.C of twenty and an online following of hundreds. But the directors of JuncYard C.I.C. have the final say on any decisions relating to the Victoria Skatepark Project.
The Company wants to lease and redevelop the old Victoria Skatepark into a new bespoke accessible concrete bowl structure with several different street sectioned wheeled-sports obstacles and elements within its extended boundaries. We will then maintain the new facility for the benefit of the whole community.

We have very little experience of delivering projects, but we can draw on the experience and knowledge of Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) officers to guide us through the process, such as Playgrounds Inspector David Dudley and his line manager at ERF Owen Conroy. We also have business owners in the building industry on the Victoria Skatepark Group who have established experience, and we have been working with skatepark contractor Curve Studio Ltd.
We have already employed skatepark developers Curve Studio Ltd who have undertaken a community engagement throughout Llandudno Junction, along with a feasibility study, which has enabled us to present Conwy County Borough Council with a pre-planning application.
The Skatepark is positioned within the playground of Victoria Park, Llandudno Junction which is a CCBC-owned park. JuncYard C.I.C. is acting as a fundraising Company to improve facilities at minimum cost to the local taxpayer.
